LIGHT SHAPING DIFFUSERS

Light Shaping Diffusers® homogenize light to eliminate hot spots and add precise angular control with a large selection of angles. Glass-On-Glass Light Shaping Diffusers are particularly applicable to high temperature/high power environments found with arc based projectors, UV and laser applications.

Light Shaping Diffusers (LSDs) can convert the appearance of discrete point light sources into one uniform light source. Luminit's LSDs provide diffusion and homogenization with very high transmission, up to 92%, to maximize and control light output from light sources for LED systems without the substantial loss of light frequently experienced with the use of more "traditional" diffusers.

LSDs can provide improved color mixing in RGB applications and uniform color temperatures for white HBLED applications. These are particularly valuable benefits for wall wash, wall graze, cove and architectural lighting installations.
